In a community like this nobody owns the landscape individually, which means everybody notices it.

The entrance monument is the piece that sets expectations before anyone has driven in. White hydrangeas and a low boxwood hedge keep it formal and legible from the road, and it stays presentable without a fussy maintenance routine.

Continuity along the streets

Inside the community the beds repeat a small number of plants deliberately: pink flowering perennials, ornamental grasses and hydrangeas, worked along the curve of the streets in front of the brick elevations. Repetition is what makes a large site feel designed rather than assembled.

Maintained on a schedule

The same crews return through the season for mowing, bed work and seasonal changeovers, and through the winter for snow.
